AboutThe Role
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our dynamic, community-focused team. Youll work in a thriving clinical environment equipped with modern tools and supported by a close-knit staff. From conducting wellness exams to performing a variety of soft-tissue surgeries, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive care while building trust with clients and making a real difference in pets lives.
You will be working alongside a seasoned veterinarian who values collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth.
- Perform thorough physical examinations, routine checkups, and urgent care evaluations
- Conduct a range of surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, mass removals, wound repairs, and dental surgeries, while ensuring best practices for anesthesia and pain management
- Interpret diagnostic tests and develop effective treatment plans
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and other treatments
- Provide client education on preventive care, treatment options, and post-operative recovery
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Work collaboratively with the team to uphold the highest standards of care and client service
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree with an active Hawaiiveterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)
- At least 1 year of veterinary experience; surgical proficiency or a strong interest in developing surgical skills is highly preferred
- Commitment to compassionate, high-quality care and exceptional client communication
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills
- Interest in potential partnership opportunities for the right candidate
