Title
Emergency Department Nurse

Schedule
Must be available for all shifts, starting 7 AM on Monday.
Mandatory variable shifts: 80 hours in a two-week period (AM 7-1900 or PM ).

Assignment Details

Requirements
- Mandatory two (2) years of experience in an Emergency Department
- Float to Long Term Care or ICU Department as needed

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Assess and document patient conditions and responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments.
- Participate in team meetings and continuing education.

Compliance / Notes
Send a message to the facility via the Medefis portal with the date of arrival on the island and any remaining compliance items once confirmed. Holiday pay is based on hours worked on designated holidays.
