Business Manager/ Family Assistant, F/T, for an employer-owned business in Hanapepe, with an office in Poipu. Looking for a hard-working, self-reliant, friendly professional, ready to tackle diverse tasks. Managerial experience and writing skills are essential. A degree is preferred. Salary depends on experience and education.
JOB DETAILS:
- Pay bills and maintain business records (not required to be an accountant).
- Oversee, with a co-manager, three local employees, three part-time mainland employees, and several independent contractors.
- Identify maintenance needs and hire/supervise contractors.
- Complete household and business projects and tasks.
- Co-manage, with the current co-manager, an employer-owned business in Hanapepe.
- Assist in managing a small mainland company owned by the same employer. No travel to the mainland required.
- Conduct research related to construction, events, and products/services.
- Run errands such as auto maintenance, shopping, and acquiring business supplies.
- Write publicity materials, including newsletters, ads, and social media posts for the Hanapepe business.
QUALITIES AND SKILLS:
- Computer skills (typing; experience with Microsoft Office, Google Apps, Quick Books, Excel preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Management experience: ability to work constructively with business owners, co-managers, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks promptly.
- Critical thinking, using logic, common sense, and good judgment to identify problems and opportunities, find solutions, and make decisions.
- Detail-oriented, diligent, thorough, meticulous.
- Energetic with a can-do attitude and problem-solving mindset.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- A degree is preferred.

Full-time - Salary: $95,000+ per year, depending on experience and education.
