Location: Grand Wailea Resort, Lahaina, Hawaiʻi

Schedule: Various – weekdays, weekends, holidays

Lead day‑to‑day operations of Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa, managing 30‑40 front‑of‑house staff and reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage.

• Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations including guest service, product quality, cost controls, marketing, budgeting, and policy enforcement.
• Supervise and develop team members, conduct evaluations, provide coaching, and recognize excellence.
• Maintain customer database and partner with Sales & Marketing on strategy.
• Maximize efficiency using technology systems (e.g., Open Table).
• Monitor service and satisfaction trends, address issues, and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations.
• Implement up‑selling techniques and new menu offerings to increase revenue.
• Recruit, interview, and train staff.

• Minimum 2‑3 years restaurant management in upscale dining environment.
• Experience managing high‑volume and unionized work environments preferred.
• Proven leadership, training, and development skills.
• Strong financial acumen, marketing insight, and employee relations experience.
