✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Maintenance Worker at Pearl Haven in Haleiwa, HI ✨
Pearl Haven is a specialized facility on the north shore of Oahu that provides trauma informed therapeutic services for girls ages 11-17 who have experienced complex trauma or are diagnosed with serious emotional and behavioral disturbances to try and help them heal from their trauma.
Pay: Starting at $27/hour

You will be eligible for Medical insurance on the first of the month following your first day of full‑time employment. You will be eligible for the rest of the Rite of Passage Benefits Package immediately after 90 days of full‑time employment, and 401k match of up to 6% after 1 year of employment, Paid Time Off that can be used as soon as it accrues and more!

What you will do: As a Maintenance Worker you will perform work orders including general building maintenance, minor electrical repairs, minor plumbing repairs, maintaining smoke detectors and emergency lights, maintaining and installing swamp coolers/air conditioners, replacing floor tiles, repairing roofing, grounds maintenance/irrigation if needed, and new construction, etc.
To be considered you should: Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants should be at least 21 years of age. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical and TB test. Applicants should be empathetic, patient and have a desire to work with troubled teens.

The Maintenance Worker will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 8am – 4:30pm with a half an hour break.
