The immediate vacancy is with the Department of Transportation, Airports Division and is responsible for custodial maintenance of Kahului Airport Facilities.

Shift WorkApplicants must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Duties SummarySupervises and participates in keeping assigned buildings and building areas clean and orderly, including heavy lifting, cleaning places and equipment which are not easily accessible, simple building repair work and operating industrial type cleaning equipment; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification Requirements- LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK

The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. - GENERAL EXPERIENCE
:
Two (2) years of janitorial or related custodial work such as sweeping, dusting and cleaning of buildings. - SUPERVISORY APTITUDE
:
Applicants must possess Supervisory Aptitude, demonstrated through successful completion of assignments involving supervisory responsibilities or training courses in supervision, with application of supervisory skills in work assignments and/or favorable appraisals indicating supervisory potential. - DRIVER'S LICENSE
:
Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment. - FEDERAL CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORDS CHECK
