Suitable for students with basic foundational knowledge and little to no practical experience, ideal for freshmen or sophomores who have completed only introductory courses.

Job Summary

Maintain buildings in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Perform a variety of heavy and light cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, shampooing rugs, and removing trash to ensure a sanitary and welcoming environment.

Primary Responsibilities

* Service, clean, or supply restrooms and laundry rooms.

* Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.

* Clean elevators, stairways, handrails, and common areas in each building.

* Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash and recyclables.

* Follow established procedures for safe use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.

* Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water with detergents or other cleaning agents according to specifications.

* Performs additional duties as assigned by a supervisor

Education

High School or equivalent

No Experience; training will be provided

Physical Demands

Position requires physical labor, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing/pulling equipment.

Work may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and occasional unpleasant tasks.

Base Rate Per Hour:
