Job Description

As a Gold Floor Attendant with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional VIP service and specialty cuisine that are hallmarks of our luxury lifestyle brand. Your warm, personal attention and knowledge of our Gold Floor Attendant offering allows our guests to experience unique consistent luxury while enjoying the services provided by our Fairmont Gold Lounge.

Fairmont Gold is our exclusive hotel-within-a-hotel consisting of 45 luxury rooms and suites. Our dedicated Fairmont Gold team strives to deliver the highest level of personalized service while providing exclusive Food & Beverage service in our private Fairmont Gold Lounge.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide unique dining experiences to all guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast-paced environment.
• Ensure a positive first impression of Fairmont Gold for guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.
• Distribute and deliver guest food orders to the service floor and serve them at their tables to the correct guest
• Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B services, contents & preparation methods, outlets and hotel services/features
• Maintain cleanliness of chinaware and monitor quality and consistency of all menu items
• Maintain clean and orderly condition of the service line station
• Daily requisition of all food condiments and ensure adequate stock levels of dishware, linen and condiments for daily service operations
• Clear and tidy the bar counter after patron departure as quickly as possible
• Remember individual patrons’ names and preferences to extend personalized service
• Ensure all food & beverage are served according to service standards
• Perform opening/closing side duties and set tables according to standards and procedures
• Assist other Food & Beverage outlets during peak times or when required
• Apply necessary precautions with regards to hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by hotel management
