Job Description

There is no room for ordinary in anything we do. As a Beach Supervisor
, you will support our Beach team with the day‑to‑day operations of the department, ensuring our guests feel well taken care of as they enjoy their time at the beach.

Hourly Rate: $28.15

What You Will Be Doing
  • Ensure staff are properly equipped for success and have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between hourly colleagues and the Leadership Team, and assume managerial responsibilities in the Manager’s absence.
  • Provide timely, personalized, friendly and efficient service to our guests.
  • Assists guests with proper beach registration, rentals, and information relating to safety protocols.
  • Ensure that overall cleanliness and maintenance of our resort exceeds expectations by picking up debris and ensuring receptacles are regularly maintained.
  • Assist guests in finding a location on the beach, setting up and breaking down their area as requested and in accordance to Resort and DLNR guidelines.
  • Acts as a bridge for our Guests and Concierge by managing any additional needs or requests.
  • Enforce all beach and pool safety rules, seeking assistance from Managers or Security if required.
  • Refreshes and implements new initiatives in department in collaboration with leadership team.
Qualifications
  • Able to work in a high‑pressure environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team player
  • One year experience in customer service
  • Previous experience in luxury hotel environment desirable involving multi‑tasking, attention to detail, and customer service
Licenses or Certificates
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Tuberculosis clearance
  • Valid Driver License
  • Water Safety Certification is an asset
Your Working Environment
  • Must be able to withstand very warm and sunny conditions
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull 100 lbs.
  • Constant standing, walking and reaching
  • Occasional lifting/carrying, pushing and pulling
  • Occasional crouching, bending, stooping, and kneeling
  • Requires grasping, writing, repetitive motions, listening, hearing and visual acuity
