Sterilization Technician

Duration 13 weeks contract (Potential for an extension)

Shift: 6am – 9pm Monday through Friday with Sat-Sun On call from 6am-6pm

We are seeking a sterile processing technician who is passionate about teamwork, patient safety and instrument excellence. As part of our Sterile Processing Department, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical services by ensuring all surgical instruments and medical equipment are meticulously cleaned, sterilized and ready for use.

Shifts:

SPD operations cover 6am – 9pm Monday through Friday with Sat-Sun On call from 6am-6pm. State holiday operates 6am-2:30pm, Major Holiday On call 6am-6pm

Seeking Primarily 12:30pm-9pm Monday - Friday

Sat-Sun rotational dependent on operations and staff availability

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Certified through CRCST or CBSPD
• 2 years at minimum of recent experience in a sterile processing department in a hospital or surgical center.
