Trade the mundane for the magic of Kauai! Catalytic Solutions is seeking an experienced, dedicated Recreational Aide for a long-term care assignment on the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii . This is a unique opportunity to enhance the quality of life for residents while enjoying an unparalleled tropical location.

• Job Location: Kauai, Hawaii

• Shift: Days, 40 hours/week

• Contract Start: ASAP

You will be instrumental in designing and implementing engaging activities that support the emotional and physical well-being of residents in a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing setting.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Activity Planning: Independently plan and implement creative activities tailored to residents' abilities.

  • Community Reintegration: Support off-site excursions (shopping, theaters, picnics) to facilitate community engagement

  • Assessment: Collaborate on assessing residents' interests and needs.

  • Logistics & Support: Coordinate supplies, maintain the activity calendar, and work with the dietary department on special meal requests.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible work experience as a Recreational Aide.

• Essential Skill:
  
  Experience with MDS (Minimum Data Set) is required.

• Certification: Active BLS certification is required.

• Preferred: CNA certification is a plus.

• Travel Note: Upon confirmation, you must communicate your arrival date on the island and compliance status to the facility promptly.
