LOCATION:
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT (EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT) POSITION SUMMARY
Emergency Department Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides routine and emergency medical care, under the supervision of a licensed physician.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program and NCPAA or AANP certification
- Two to three years of post-graduate work experience in an Emergency Department
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Hawaii State Board of Medical Examiners licensure
- Controlled substance prescriptive authority
