About the location:
Located on the southeastern coast of the pristine island of Lāna’i, Four Seasons Resort Lana’i offers an oceanfront destination providing a curated, personalized island escape. The resort features outdoor dining (including Nobu Lana’i), a kids club, Tennis Garden, cultural programming, spa, luxury retail boutiques, and a Jack Nicklaus-signature golf course with ocean views. Island activities include sunset sails, whale watching, horseback riding, archery, biking, hiking, and more.

The Four Seasons Resort Lana’i is looking for a Lead Esthetician who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Work authorization is required.

Hawanawana Spa offers a curated selection of world-class spa brands and a menu that blends tradition with innovation. The spa features fitness and yoga facilities with ocean views and programs such as Personal Training, Kettlebell Power, Full Body Conditioning, Core Conditioning, Tai Chi, and Anti-Gravity Yoga (Aerial Yoga).

Join Hawanawana Spa as a Lead Esthetician to oversee all aspects of facial and skincare programs and deliver treatments that meet the brand’s luxury standards. This role includes performing advanced skincare treatments, supervising the aesthetics team, maintaining treatment protocols, and supporting financial and service-related goals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Deliver personalized, high-quality facial treatments and aesthetic services that exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain current knowledge of skincare techniques, products, and industry trends to ensure innovative and effective treatments.
• Promote retail products and educate guests on personalized skincare routines to enhance results.

• Supervise and mentor a team of aestheticians, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
• Conduct trainings to maintain and elevate service quality and team expertise.
• Evaluate aestheticians to ensure adherence to service protocols and quality standards.
• Develop team schedules to meet guest demand and operational needs.

• Oversee inventory levels for skincare supplies and retail products; create purchase orders as needed.
• Write and update treatment protocols to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery.
• Conduct regular spa walkthroughs to ensure treatment rooms are properly equipped and meet standards.

• Act as a point of contact for guest feedback, addressing concerns professionally and with care.
• Recommend and promote new treatments and services based on guest preferences and industry trends.
• Create a welcoming and serene environment for every guest interaction.

• Legal work authorization in the United States.
• Hawaii Department of Health TB clearance as required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and push/pull as needed.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Hawaii State License as an Esthetician.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a certified esthetician in a luxury spa or wellness environment; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of high-quality spa service experiences and skincare techniques.
• Ability to operate and maintain facial equipment to high standards.
