• Bachelor's Degree
• If hired without completing a Teacher’s Education Program, must obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license within three years, enroll in a program to continue employment, and demonstrate active pursuit of licensing requirements annually.
• Upon hire, must have a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit. Can apply for the license on the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board website.

10‑month teachers: compensated according to Bargaining Unit 05 salary schedule.
