Assistant High School Principal – Havre Public Schools Education Foundation
Position: Assistant High School Principal
State Date: 2026‑27 School Year
Salary: $96,000 DOE
Universal Obligations / Expectations:
1. Put the safety, health and well-being of students at the forefront of all actions, job responsibilities and decisions.
2. Undertake all duties in alignment with the District’s Strategic Plan.
- Serves as administrative head of the school in the absence of the principal.
- Supervises employees in school when the principal is absent from the building.
- Administers and documents programs of student discipline and attendance while interacting with students and families to encourage positive academic and behavioral performance.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Board policies, rules, regulations, and directives.
- Assists with staff evaluation.
- Attends and participates in all required meetings.
- Assists in managing building staff, including class schedules and building problems.
- Supervises staff attendance and assignment of substitute teachers.
- Schedules and supervises events, safety protocols, and summer programming.
- Serves as District 504 Coordinator.
- Provides general dug supervision to students.
- Maintains relationships with parents and community.
- Assists building principal in all aspects of building operations.
- Completes required reports.

- Be appropriately licensed and endorsed in accordance with state statutes and Board of Public Education rules or be considered appropriately assigned if the administrator is enrolled in an internship. aqueles。

- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form.

- Ability to effectively manage time and responsibilities.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and general knowledge of issues and problems in all aspects of the school.
