Brief Position Overview
The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education’s MEd Program in Counselor Education at Montana State University – Northern ( MSUN ), invites applications for an academic-year (10-month), full-time tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Counselor Education position, anticipated to begin August 1, 2025. The successful candidate will teach core content courses, with an emphasis in teaching and advising in the School Counseling concentration.
The duties and responsibilities of this position also include assisting in the establishment of practicum and internship sites with school districts and mental and behavioral health providers, participating in scholarship and service activities; collaborating across MSUN programs and Montana University System institutions; supporting student recruitment, retention, and progression efforts; and assisting the program in seeking CACREP accreditation.
Effective teaching is the primary mission of this position and MSU
