Tour Guide

The Port of Havre-Saint-Pierre plays a key role in welcoming cruise passengers and visitors to the region. In collaboration with various local partners, we offer discovery experiences that highlight the territory, its history, culture, and natural environment, in a safe and welcoming setting.

• Welcome visitors and cruise passengers at the Port
• Lead guided walking tours (approximately 2.5 hours per tour)
• Interpret the history, heritage, and key attractions of Havre-Saint-Pierre and the surrounding region
• Ensure a high-quality, friendly, and safe visitor experience
• Collaborate with the Port team and local tourism partners
• Perform any other related tasks associated with tourist guiding and interpretation

• Must be a resident of the Minganie region
• Experience in guiding, tourism, or customer service (an asset)
• Bilingualism (French and English) is a strong asset
• Strong interest in local history, culture, and territory
• Autonomy, enthusiasm, and professionalism
• Flexible schedule based on cruise ship calls (1 to 2 guided tours per call)
