- Performs general cleaning in patient rooms, offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, common spaces, auditoriums, and gymnasiums daily.
- Cleans building floors daily by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, shampooing, and waxing.
- Pulls and removes trash.
- Makes beds as part of patient room cleaning procedure.
- Moves furniture, changes mattresses, stocks supplies, or performs other related services as needed.
- Assists with set‑up and arrangement of tables, chairs, ladders, scaffolding, trash, etc. for events.
- Provides laundry service and luggage movement for patients from admission to discharge.
- Operates a pressure washer to clean exterior of buildings, entrance ways, and walks as needed.
- Operates company vehicles and golf carts.
Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special situations, spills, etc. - Provides quality customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Utilizes efficient and effective cleaning techniques and safely uses housecleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety bulletins, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to act with integrity, remain professional, and exercise discretion at all times.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
- Must communicate effectively in writing and orally.
- Must be able to multi‑task and prioritize.
- Must be able to manage change.
- Must be proactive, responsible, and flexible.
