About the Role

The Composites GBU Industrial Hygiene Expert leads the industrial hygiene program, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment through developing, implementing, and supporting industrial hygiene initiatives, training, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Hazard Identification: Anticipate, identify, and recognize workplace hazards.

Risk Management: Manage risk assessments and investigate workplace risks.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, REACH, ANSI, and ACGIH standards.

Program Development: Develop and implement industrial hygiene programs, establish policies, and maintain tools.

Site Support: Provide technical guidance, mentor engineers, conduct site visits, and participate in health investigations.

Training and

Education:

Develop and deliver tailored training programs.

Investment Reviews: Evaluate IH aspects of new projects and facilities, ensuring compliance and safety controls.

Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor, interpret, and comment on relevant legislation.

Qualifications

15+ years in Industrial Hygiene/HSE, with 10+ in manufacturing industries.
Professional certification (e.g., CIH).
Expertise in exposure assessment, hazard identification, and IH software.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
