Internship Overview

Undergraduate interns will work alongside experienced professionals to learn about the delivery of behavioral health and social services in real‑world settings. Interns will gain insight into program operations, client engagement, and the interdisciplinary teamwork that supports individuals and families facing social, emotional, and systemic challenges.
This is an unpaid internship opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist staff with program activities and daily operations
  • Observe and support individual, group, and family sessions as appropriate
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and case discussions
  • Complete documentation and administrative tasks as assigned
  • Engage with youth and families in a supportive and professional manner
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards consistent with agency policies
Eligibility & Requirements
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Interest in working with diverse populations and learning about trauma‑informed care
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned internship site(s)
