Magellan Aerospace, Haverhill is a world-class manufacturer of precision machined aerospace components. We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner. The primary responsibility of a Production Planner is to work as part of the Production Control Team to manage daily production schedules and oversee the execution of the production plan to achieve business goals.

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $97,000 annually.

• Oversee the execution of daily production plans.
• Work closely with manufacturing/operations and planning.
• Daily scheduling of work centers.
• Issue daily dispatch lists.
• Update schedules in business system.
• Work hand in hand with other planners to prioritize work through critical work centers.
• Have total ownership of product lines from raw material to shipment.
• Ensure and update WIP trackers daily.
• Work with Master Scheduler to ensure line of balances are accurate and ensure a finished goods state.
• Review, understand and follow MOS requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or related field, or 5+ years’ experience in Manufacturing/Production environment
• APICS Certification a plus
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems preferred.
• Proficient in Word/Excel
• Excellent computer skills
• Attention to detail, must be focused, extremely well organized,
• Ability to multi-task, high energy level
• Sense of urgency
