CNC Mill/Turn/Lathe Operator – 2nd Shift
Position Summary:Our client is a leading manufacturer of precision machined aerospace components, known for delivering high-quality, world-class products. We are currently seeking a skilled 2nd Shift CNC Mill/Turn/Lathe Operator
. The primary responsibility of this role is to set up and operate CNC milling, turning, and lathe equipment efficiently and accurately, producing parts to exacting tolerances.
$28/hr – $38/hr
Hours:Monday to Friday - 4pm-12am
Responsibilities:- Read and interpret engineering prints and instructions to consistently produce parts to precise tolerances.
- Analyze and debug new machining methods to improve efficiency and quality.
- Perform calculations and use inspection tools to verify compliance with all quality requirements.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Monitor and maintain oil and coolant levels on a daily basis.
- Work diligently to meet productivity and quality standards.
- High School Diploma or Vocational/Technical School education, with hands-on training in a machine shop.
- Minimum of 5 years of machining experience.
- Ability to work within tight tolerances and established parameters.
- Knowledge of metric to imperial conversions is desirable.
- Experience working with tolerances of +/- .00015 and understanding of surface finish requirements.
- Proficiency in indicating and using precision inspection tools.
