Position Overview
We are a world-class manufacturer of precision-machined aerospace components seeking a skilled CNC Mill-Turn / Lathe Machinist to join our 2nd shift team in Haverhill, MA. This role is ideal for an experienced machinist with a strong background in high-precision CNC turning and mill-turn operations, working with advanced aerospace materials and tight tolerances.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mill-turn and lathe equipment to produce complex components that meet strict engineering and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC mill-turn and lathe machines safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions
- Produce precision aerospace components to close tolerances and surface finish requirements
- Perform calculations and use precision measuring and inspection equipment to verify quality
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug machining processes and methods
- Monitor and maintain oil and coolant levels on a daily basis
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Perform all duties with a strong focus on productivity, accuracy, and quality
- High School Diploma or Vocational School education with hands-on machining training
- 4–5+ years of CNC machining experience (5 years preferred)
- Hands-on experience with CNC mill-turn and/or CNC lathe machines
- Experience machining titanium, stainless steel, and high-temperature alloys
- Ability to work within tight tolerances, including ±0.00015
- Strong understanding of surface finishes and inspection methods
- Proficiency with indicating and precision measurement tools
- Working knowledge of metric-to-imperial conversions (preferred)
- Team-oriented attitude with strong reliability and attention to detail
- Must have U.S. permanent residency or legally allowed to work in the U.S without restriction
