CNC Horizontal Lathe Machinist

We are supporting a manufacturing partner seeking an experienced CNC Horizontal Machinist for their 2nd-shift team. This role focuses on setup, operation, and quality inspection of CNC horizontal machining centers.

Shift: Monday-Friday (Weekends off)

Hours: 3:30pm-12:00am, training will be on 1st shift

Location: Haverhill, MA

Salary: $62,400-$65,000

Permanent Opportunity

• Set up and operate CNC horizontal machining centers
• Install and align tooling, fixtures, and work pieces
• Perform first-artic le and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
• Adjust offsets and troubleshoot machining issues
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Complete production and quality documentation
• Maintain a safe, organized work area

• 2+ years of CNC horizontal machining experience
• Ability to set up, operate, and make minor program edits
• Strong ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• High attention to detail and quality
• Experience with plastics or aluminum machining preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Steel toe boots
• Willingness to submit to background check and drug test

• Stand/walk for entire shift
• Lift up to 25 lbs
• Work in a moderate-noise manufacturing environment with standard PPE
