Schedule
2-3-2: 7:00AM – 7:00PM
Production- Coordinate and monitor the tasks related to the settings of different machines.
- Ensure the care of the machine functions and methods to be used according to different needs of production to be carried out.
- Read work orders, pull and thread webs during startup of extruder, treaters, presses, post‑gussets, or winder.
- Troubleshoot on extruder machines, separators, or winder.
- Remove finished products, scrap and unused cartons and other supplies from the manufacturing area when no longer required for use.
- Inspect skids of finished product for proper label, date code, and special ticketing of product that requires additional product information for specific customers.
- Locate, gather and transport to work areas all cartons, cores, concentrates, resins, and all other supplies as needed for production requirements in the absence of a material handler.
- Maintain filters on resin pumping system to ensure material flow to extrusion lines.
- Report any dangerous situations to the production supervisor.
- Comply with Health and Safety policies and programs in place.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment.
- Wear safety glasses and shoes.
- Wear noise‑reduction earplugs.
- Ensure that all aspects of the area of responsibility are in full compliance with the quality system in place for the operation being performed.
- Ensure that machines are regularly cleaned according to the sanitation requirements.
- Monitor roll weights of finished product for all lines and ensure record keeping at hourly intervals.
- Perform spot inspections of finished product and record results on corresponding paperwork.
- Promote compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Suggest and implement opportunities related to production operations.
- Follow continuous training to improve knowledge related to the machines to be operated and to the conformity of quality certification standards and perform any other related task required according to operational needs.
