Business:
Provide pre/post sales technical support and test program development to potential and existing customers.
In this position the Engineer is part of a team that offers test and assembly solutions (Flying Probe, In-circuit & Functional, EV Battery Module) to customers working closely with sales managers to achieve new sales and support our existing customer base. This candidate is the main technical driver between the sales manager and customer. In this critical position the sales manager will rely on the technical skills of the candidate to help close sales, train the customer and provide post-sales support.
The candidate should be competent of Seica's products he/she is assigned to and understand the advantages of the products. Additionally, the candidate must understand the competitors from a technical viewpoint as well.
- Process/evaluate customer product data to determine specific needs and identify a Seica solution for the customer.
- Participate in Pre-sales activities including product presentations to customers, teleconferences, trade show support.
- Interface with the Seica factory personnel (Applications/Service/R&D) to resolve pre/post sales issues.
- Assist with delivering onsite and remote customer training.
- Support existing customer base and respond to application questions.
- This position will focus on Seica’s EV Battery Module testing solutions, in addition to Flying Probe and Bed-of-Nails fixture-based testers.
- Education:
BSEE, BSCE, BSSE or equivalent. BSME will be considered with an understanding of electronics. - 1-3 years of minimum experience
- Travel both domestically and internationally
- Ability to interpret schematics and component datasheets and have a strong understanding of electrical components and testing
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Must have US work Authorization
