Warehouse Supervisor

Pay: £34,000.00 per year

Job Description:

The Role

As Late Shift Warehouse Supervisor, you will take responsibility for on-shift warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, accuracy and service levels are maintained at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

* Supervising warehouse operations during the late shift

* Acting as first point of contact for WMS, system or process issues

* Resolving operational blockers quickly and escalating where required

* Supporting the timely receipt, picking, packing and dispatch of orders

* Monitoring KPIs including productivity, accuracy and quality

* Maintaining Health & Safety compliance across the warehouse

* Ensuring safe use of Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE), including checks and reporting

* Coaching and supporting warehouse operatives to maintain SOP standards

* Assisting with training, performance monitoring and process improvement initiatives

* Promoting strong housekeeping standards and a “clean as you go” approach

You will arrive early to prepare the shift, reduce reliance on senior management for day-to-day operational issues, and drive consistent performance across the warehouse floor.

Skills & Experience

* Previous Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader experience

* Strong operational background within warehouse or distribution environments

* Confident user of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

* Experience managing and motivating teams

* Knowledge of Health & Safety and MHE compliance

* Calm under pressure during peak operational periods

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
