Heat Pump Installation Engineer (ASHP – Retrofit)

We are expanding our delivery team for the Warm Homes retrofit programme and are looking for an experienced Heating Engineer with a genuine interest in renewable heating and the decarbonisation of homes.

This role will involve delivering domestic Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) installations to a high standard, working as part of a site team, and supporting junior engineers and apprentices. Structured training and on-site technical support are available for engineers transitioning from traditional heating to heat pumps.

• Delivering retrofit ASHP installations from first fix through to commissioning and customer handover
• Leading and mentoring junior engineers on site
• Ensuring installations comply with quality, manufacturer, and safety requirements
• Diagnosing and resolving installation or technical issues
• Maintaining accurate site records and reporting
• Representing the company professionally on customer sites

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Domestic Heating (essential)
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Company van + fuel card
• Uniform, PPE, and tools provided
• Typical workload: 1–2 ASHP installs per week
• Funded training and qualifications
• Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required
