As demand grows and more cat parents join the Kat Kin pack, we’re expanding both our production and fulfilment teams — and we’re looking for reliable, hands-on General Operatives to help us deliver on that mission.

As a General Operative, you’ll support eitherproduction, fulfilment, or both, depending on business needs. Your work may include:

Production tasks

• Preparing, packing and handling fresh pet food
• Working on production lines to meet quality and safety standards
• Handling both raw and cooked meat
• Working in chilled environments to keep food fresh and safe

Fulfilment tasks

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
• Labelling, checking and dispatching boxes accurately
• Moving stock and supporting warehouse organisation
• Making sure orders leave on time and in perfect condition

Across all areas, you’ll:

• Keep work areas clean, organised and food‑safe
• Follow clear processes and safety procedures
• Support teammates to keep everything running smoothly

• Contracted to a minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Shifts operate between 6am and 6pm
• Shift patterns can vary depending on order volumes and production demand
• Flexibility is key as we continue our growth journey

To maintain Kat Kin’s quality standards, this role involves:

• Working in cold/chilled conditions
• Handling raw and cooked meat products (production roles)
• Manual handling as part of picking, packing and moving stock
• Following strict food hygiene and health & safety procedures

(Full training and PPE provided.)

• A positive, reliable attitude and willingness to learn
• Flexibility to move between production and fulfilment when needed
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
• Strong teamwork, accuracy and attention to detail

• Pay from £12.85 per hour
