Churchill Special School, part of the Unity Schools Partnership, invites a dedicated Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join our therapy team. You will work alongside qualified Speech and Language Therapists, a SALT apprentice and an Occupational Therapist to support pupils with special educational needs.

• Assist in planning, delivering and recording therapy sessions for pupils aged 8‑18 with special educational needs.
• Support qualified therapists and other professionals in the delivery of inclusive intervention programmes.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in line with safeguarding and data protection requirements.
• Engage with pupils, families and colleagues to ensure continuity and effectiveness of care.

• Experience or a keen interest in working with pupils with special educational needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional development.
