About

The Role

This Scheme Support Officer role is based at Caersalem House. We have a team of Scheme Support Officers and Projects Workers providing 24/7 support to individuals who are 18+ and are experiencing homelessness. As a Scheme Support Officer you will help customers plan goals to gain skills required to live independently. You will engage customers in activities and coordinate with the right specialist services to address any other support needs.

  • Support customers in planning goals to develop tenancy management, health and wellbeing skills, and independent living capabilities.
  • Engage customers in activities and coordinate with specialist services to address additional support needs.
  • Work interactively and collaboratively with colleagues and partners to support outcomes for customers.
Skills and Experience

To be a great Scheme Support Officer, you don’t always need previous experience or qualifications. This role requires flexibility, enthusiasm, motivation, and creativity. You must be able to work on your own initiative in a busy, dynamic role and be a positive team member. More important are:

  • A passion to work with and enable people to improve skills relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing
  • An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people’s lives
  • A strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently as well as being a great team player
Requirements and Information

Pay, Pensions and Benefits
  • £24,531.00 FTE (£12.75 per hour)
  • Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift
