Salary – Grade 4: £25,185 – £25,989;
Grade 5 (pro rata): £26,403 – £27,694.

Position Overview

This combined role covers two posts, with a minimum of 37 hours in the core role of Registration Administrator at Grade
4. After training in the first year, you will register marriages at locations across Pembrokeshire and assist at other celebratory events, duties paid at Grade 5 pro rata.

The service operates seven days a week. Core hours are Monday‑Friday 9.00‑17.00 or Tuesday‑Saturday 9.00‑17.00. Due to seasonal fluctuations, Saturday work is required at peak times (primarily summer).

  • Register marriages and assist at celebratory events.
  • Maintain accurate records using registration online systems.
  • Communicate with colleagues and stakeholders effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High degree of self‑motivation and commitment.
  • Excellent organisational, detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and professional personality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; training provided for registration systems.
  • Legible handwriting, full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Essential Welsh language skills or commitment to learn them to the required standard post‑appointment.
