Nightshift Factory processing Workers

We are seeking motivated factory process workers to join our mussel grading, packing, and mussel opening teams at our Havelock processing factory. This is a permanent night shift role.

• Packing: Accurately and efficiently pack mussel products to company standards, ensuring correct portioning, labelling, and presentation. Maintain speed without compromising quality and contribute to a smooth workflow across the production line.
• Grading: Carefully sort and grade mussels by size, quality, and specification, ensuring only the best products reach customers. Maintain consistency, spot defects or irregularities, and support overall product quality standards.
• Mussel Opening: Expertly open mussels with minimal waste. Maximise yield and efficiency, ensuring products are prepared correctly for packing or further processing.

• Pack, label, sort, and grade mussels efficiently and accurately.
• Open mussels with minimal waste.
• Operate and maintain plant equipment safely.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor maintenance.
• Follow all health, safety, and quality standards.

• Ability to work permanent night shifts and meet physical demands.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and take on various tasks within production.
• Based in the Marlborough region with reliable transport (Havelock is 40km from Blenheim).
