Mission Technologies— a division of HII—is seeking an Access Control / Receptionist for our Cherry Point, NC location. The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and callers and is responsible for the safeguarding of sensitive information IAW local work instructions. This role is also responsible for creating a welcoming environment, controlling building access, managing front‑desk operations, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations.

This is an hourly rate that pays $21.38/hr per CBA.

• Provides receptionist services for facilities and the safeguarding of sensitive information IAW local Work Instructions.
• Answers incoming calls, directs callers to requested persons, takes phone messages and tracks personnel who enter/exit the facility using visitor's log.
• Controls building access and performs physical security checks as required. Issues badges to cleared contractor employees, Government employees, and to visitors who have a valid Visit Authorization Request (VAR) on file.
• Cautions visitors against the possession of prohibited materials. Maintains current access roster. Maintains log of all personnel entering or leaving the facilities.
• Performs other routine clerical work such as recording and transmitting messages, providing information to callers, and making appointments.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year related experience.
• Must have current secret clearance with ability to maintain.
• Familiar with MS Office products, including MS Word, Excel.
• Must be a UC Citizen.
• Must have current valid state Driver's License with ability to maintain.
• Upon hire, required to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Candidate must be able to obtain an interim secret clearance to start and maintain a secret clearance thereafter.

Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines.
