Basic Salary: £25,000 | OTE: £35,000 – £45,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced estate agency professional to join a successful and forward-thinking residential estate agency in Havant as a Sales Manager. This role is ideal for a Senior Negotiator or Assistant Manager looking to progress into a leadership position, offering strong earning potential and a clear career path.
Working closely with the Branch Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales performance, supporting team development, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The RoleAs Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day sales activity, winning new instructions, and ensuring properties are marketed and sold effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing residential sales and providing professional advice to buyers and sellers
- Carrying out property valuations and consistently winning instructions
- Showcasing properties to achieve the best possible sale price
- Working collaboratively with your team to match properties with suitable buyers
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with solicitors, mortgage advisers, and other property professionals
- Identifying new leads and generating business opportunities
- Supporting the Branch Manager with team motivation, coaching, and performance management
This role is open only to experienced estate agency professionals. You will need to demonstrate:
- A minimum of one year’s experience within residential estate agency, including valuing experience
- A proven track record of converting valuations into instructions and completed sales
Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills - A driven, enthusiastic, and self-motivated approach
- The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Natural leadership qualities and a desire to support and develop others
- A positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Basic salary of £25,000 per annum, with additional guaranteed earnings for the first three months
- Realistic on-target earnings of £35,000 – £45,000, with uncapped commission
- Company car or £3,000 car allowance
- Holiday commission
- 33 days paid holiday, plus an additional day off for your birthday
