Job Overview

Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is seeking a Testing Technician to join our fast‑paced team at Wessex Advanced Switching Products (WASP) in Havant. In this role you will support the daily testing and verification of aviation seating switches and lighting products for leading airlines, including Qantas, Etihad, Emirates, and British Airways. This position offers an opportunity to work with precision and contribute to cutting‑edge aviation technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Testing products against predefined test procedures (ATP’s).
  • Programming PCB assemblies and verifying software readiness.
  • Setting up and performing electrical soak testing on required products.
  • Verifying programmed PCB assemblies to confirm correct software revision.
  • Verifying test equipment and setups prior to production release.
  • Communicating any problems or obstacles to the Testing Supervisor or Production Manager in a timely manner.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in a production or assembly environment.
  • Experience in a production testing environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and numerical communication skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Strong PC skills.
