Hours: 22.5 hours per week, over 3 days (Tuesday‑Thursday 8am‑4pm)
Salary: £28,080‑£33,280 per annum, pro rata (dependent upon experience)
Location: Genesis Care Portsmouth, Havant, PO9
About The EmployerOur client is a cancer health and wellbeing charity that helps people feel better in mind, body and spirit by offering support through a team of cancer support experts—including doctors, nutritionists, counsellors and exercise therapists. This charity works with Genesis Care UK to deliver an integrated cancer care approach across 14 UK centres. For over 40 years, the charity has supported people with cancer to manage the impacts of their diagnosis and treatment and to have the best quality of life possible.
The RoleAn experienced healthcare professional is invited to join the existing team of Wellbeing Consultants embedded within established Genesis Care cancer treatment centres. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build and maintain relationships with patients, relatives, Genesis Care staff and the wider organisation, and a flexible, intelligent, and creative working style. Candidates should have experience of working within private or national health related services and a knowledge of complementary therapies or other support services.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside Genesis Care to ensure a holistic approach is taken in all aspects of support and treatment.
- Deliver one‑to‑one sessions—including holistic needs assessments, review appointments, consultations, mindfulness and relaxation sessions.
- Ensure patients and their relatives have a positive experience as they move through treatment support services at Genesis Care.
