Job Title: Configuration Support Engineer
Location: Portsmouth - Broad Oak
Salary: £38,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring requirements are supported and incorporated.
• Maintain a series of electronic Customer Master Record index (MRI) books using exported SAP reports, Word and Excel data combined into a single Adobe PDF deliverable.
• Support SAP Administration duties in absence, processing First Issue Notes (FINs) and Engineering Requests (ERs).
• Assist in SAP ZA Repairs, creating and processing SAP ZAs in absence.
• Undertake secretariat duties: organize meetings and construct agendas and minutes for Local Technical Committees (LTC) with the Customer; progress chase previous minute actions.
• Provide project guidance regarding configuration standards and requirements.
• Create user guides for SAP and Configuration processes, providing one‑to‑one training where necessary.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and Learning from Experience (LfE) activities.

• Engineer with moderate breadth of knowledge and experience.
• Understands theories and concepts in an engineering discipline area gained through professional qualification or equivalent.
• Understands engineering approaches, processes and procedures.
• Background knowledge in engineering design structure and document change control is essential.
• SAP experience or similar packages.
