Learning Support Assistant - SEN Secondary School (Havant)

• Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to students aged 11‑16 with a range of needs, including autism (ASC), learning difficulties, and SEMH.
• Work closely with the classroom teacher to adapt resources and ensure lessons are accessible for all learners.
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence.
• Encourage students to build confidence and develop key social skills.
• Contribute to a safe, encouraging, and inclusive school atmosphere.

• Experience supporting children or young people (school‑based experience is beneficial but not essential).
• A patient, calm, and proactive approach.
• A strong interest in SEN education and pupil development.
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to commit to a full‑time temporary role.
• Available to start ASAP.

• Hourly rate of £13.75, paid weekly.
