Senior Sales Executive - Enterprise - Nassau County at Paychex

OverviewSell Paychex products and services by developing new clients and expanding the client base to increase profits within Core Sales, Human Resource Services Sales, or Major Market Sales organizations.
Responsibilities- Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customer needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders and decision makers in person or virtually to increase revenue and market share.
- Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources to secure referrals to end users.
- Prospect new clients and referral sources using telephone, direct mail, seminars, client visits, or other local marketing programs directed by Sales management.
- Analyze customer needs and interests, determine appropriate products, and refer to appropriate parties when necessary.
- Complete and submit accurate new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports by the dates set by Sales management.
- Expedite resolution of customer problems or complaints.
- Project a positive image when representing the Corporation to clients and the community.
- Travel outside the geographical territory as required for conferences, training sessions, or zone meetings.
- High School Diploma – Required
- Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred
- 7 years of experience in professional sales
- 5 years of experience in the HCM industry
- Experience carrying a sales quota
- CORE HCM provider experience
- Experience working with mid‑size businesses or larger
- Driver’s License – Required
Typical compensation range: $85k–$250k. This range includes base pay plus commissions but does not include other components that make up the total rewards package. Total compensation may vary based on location, skills, education, and experience.
