Summary
:
Dime Community Bank (Dime) is currently hiring for an Assistant Director of Facilities at its Headquarters in Hauppauge, Long Island. The Assistant Director of Facilities is responsible for the oversight of daily facilities operations and the direct management of all facilities and maintenance staff.
Salary
:
Salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $115,000 to $125,000 annually. The exact compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, and location.

- Ensure optimal functioning and maintenance of all properties.
- Coordinate with staff to maintain and update maintenance schedules and requests, including site visits.
- Coordinate and monitor all maintenance and repair activities.
- Supervise day to day activities of maintenance team, facilities/security analyst and administration staff.
- Maintain required certificates of Insurance for company vehicles and facilities/security vendors.
- Oversee property management of all leased and owned properties including negotiating and reviewing leases.
- Work with Executive Management and outside brokers when searching for new locations.
- Ensure real estate tax bills are accurate and paid on time.
- Working with the Director of Facilities, coordinate work to be completed by contractors and skilled trades.
- When needed, assist Director of Facilities with inspecting and verifying the satisfactory completion of all construction projects.
- Working with the Director of Facilities, liaison with third-party vendors.
- Working with the Director of Facilities, work with vendor management on necessary new vendor due diligence.
- Working with the Director of Facilities, provide relative data to track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve efficiencies.
- Working with the Director of Facilities, prepare and manage annual facilities operating and capital budgets.
- Associate degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience with maintenance/facilities similar staff.
- Strong knowledge of facilities, maintenance, building management and related processes.
- Experienced and proficient with a wide range of personal computer hardware and software, including desktop publishing, and Microsoft Office products key.
- Proven experience in effectively planning, organizing, administering, coordinating, reviewing, and evaluating in the management of facillities.
- Experience in using Command Client, Axiom Cloud, Entire Microsoft Suite, Teams, Zoom Video Conferencing & Outlook.
- Must be able to read blueprints.
