The Quality Control & Governance Manager supports Consumer Lending’s first line of defense risk management program by ensuring policies and procedures remain current and compliant with regulatory standards. This role oversees quality control and governance for all Consumer Lending products—including Auto, Personal, and Credit Card—while developing performance reports and delivering actionable insights. The position requires independent execution and effective collaboration across all levels of the department.
Qualifications& Education
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of eight years directly related experience required
- Minimum four years relevant experience in risk, compliance, legal or audit required
- Financial services or insurance industry experience required
- Strong knowledge of Consumer Lending products and processes, applicable regulations, and regulatory requirements required
- Demonstrated ability to effectively challenge and influence in business or team settings.
- Ability to effectively work with internal and external partners in a highly collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify potential concerns and recommend effective solutions.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Partner with business units to identify, assess, and document risk and compliance controls, including those related to new or modified products, services, distribution channels, regulations, and third‑party operations.
- Perform control testing and execute quality control for departmental processes.
- Plan and execute test steps within established deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Assist in the development and implementation of controls as needed.
- Evaluate operational and design effectiveness of controls.
- Maintain documentation and support for testing results, including detailed findings for reporting.
- Support root cause analysis and issue remediation activities.
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions to strengthen the control environment.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
- Promote well‑managed processes within Consumer Lending to drive sustainability, enhance automation, and improve transparency and accountability.
- Support creation and revision of process documentation, including version control.

The good faith range for this position is $84,250 - $101,000 annually. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
