Personal Injury Attorney
Feldman, Kramer & Monaco, P.
C. is an established Suffolk‑based law firm seeking a seasoned personal injury attorney to join its personal injury department. The successful candidate will handle cases from inception through trial in the NYC Metropolitan Area and occasionally in upstate counties, providing excellent results, client service, and experience.
- Give telephone advice to injured legal plan members to protect their legal rights and qualify potential cases.
- Meet with clients in and out of the office for intakes.
- Gather evidence to prosecute claims including investigating accident scenes, obtaining photographs and interviewing witnesses.
- Maintain frequent client contact to update status and ensure file completeness.
- Prepare cases for pre‑litigation settlement.
- Analyze facts and law to develop strategies for maximizing case value and successful outcomes.
- Negotiate with adjusters and defense attorneys.
- Draft pleadings, motions and discovery documents.
- Argue motions and appear for court conferences.
- Take and defend depositions of parties and non‑party witnesses.
- Handle mediations and arbitrations including preparation of ADR packages.
- Conduct jury selections and trials.
- Utilize the firm’s case management system in reviewing files, entering notes and assigning tasks to support staff.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as a practicing personal injury attorney.
- Trial experience.
- Juris Doctor degree plus NYS bar admission. Federal bar admission and experience is a plus.
- Client‑focused strong customer service and personal service orientation.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills and detail‑oriented.
- Energetic, motivated and dependable.
- Strong ability to build and foster client relationships.
- Excellent telephone, oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel within the New York Metropolitan Area and occasionally in upstate counties.

Employment type: Full‑time.
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year.
