The Data Security Manager will lead initiatives to safeguard sensitive member and financial data across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing data security strategies, policies, and tools to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and mitigate data leakage risks.
Qualifications & Education- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related or eight year’s related experience.
- Minimum five years of experience in Data Security and Information Security within financial services
- Strong hands‑on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions and regulatory compliance required
- Expertise in CASB technologies and cloud security controls.
- Experience in vendor management and coordination for security solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑resolution skills.
- Knowledge of global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and financial privacy laws.
- Experience with data discovery and classification tools.
- Familiarity with Information Rights Management and Database Activity Monitoring.
- Basic scripting skills (Power Shell or Python) for automation.
- Knowledge of financial compliance frameworks and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement enterprise‑wide data protection frameworks and operating models tailored for financial services.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations including GLBA, FFIEC and other applicable standards.
- Safeguard sensitive member information and transactional data across all systems.
- Lead data classification initiatives, including manual and auto‑classification for structured data.
- Conduct workshops for stakeholders and ensure smooth rollout of classification and rights protection solutions.
- Implement and manage Office 365 DLP for One Drive, SharePoint, Teams, and email.
- Design and roll out DLP solutions for data in‑use (endpoints), in‑motion (network traffic), and at‑rest (storage).
- Create and fine‑tune DLP policies, response rules, and workflows for incident management and alert generation.
- Troubleshoot DLP‑related issues including incomplete scans, performance bottlenecks, and agent/network traffic concerns.
- Implement and manage cloud security solutions for SaaS and other cloud applications to ensure data protection and compliance.
- Develop detection, protection, and audit policies for sanctioned and unsanctioned apps.
- Integrate Cloud security solutions with other security tools for incident correlation and visibility.
- Create SOPs for incident management and SOC integration.
- Maintain documentation for policies, operational procedures, and solution rollouts.
- Liaison with vendors for execution of data security initiatives and solution deployments.
- Performs other duties as assigned

The good faith range for this position is $120,500 to $151,000 annually. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
All candidates will be subject to a background check, credit check, and drug test to determine employment eligibility.
