Behavior Technician – Center Based – Islandia – $500 Sign on Bonus!
Location: Islandia, NY
Hours: Mon–Fri 8:30am–3:30pm
Compensation: $20–24 per hour (range determined by experience and certifications)
Sign‑On Bonus: $500 after 90 days (promotion available 12/9/25–1/1/26)

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Clinical Supervisors (BCBAs) to implement ABA therapy principles.
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions.
- Maintain RBT credential within the first 90 days of employment.
- Use electronic platforms for data collection and graphing.
- Implement Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans as directed.
- Manage learners, including crisis intervention protocols, ensuring a safe environment.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Demonstrate company core values.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months ABA experience working with children or adolescents (Autism) in a supervised setting.
- Experience with challenging behaviors preferred.
- Undergraduate or graduate enrollment or completion in psychology, education, applied behavior analysis, or related field a plus.
- Passionate to work with children, adolescents, families and therapists.
- High integrity, humility, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Time management, organizational skills, critical thinker, problem‑solving mindset.
- Bilingual a plus.
