JobDetails Responsibilities
- Specimen registration, specimen accessioning, specimen sendouts
- Organization and distribution of laboratory’s daily workload (specimens and pathology slides)
- Retrieving and filing of laboratory records; slides, paraffin blocks, paper records
- Tracking of materials to and from multiple lab locations
- Specimen disposal/waste disposal in accordance with governing agencies
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Prior experience working in a lab preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-pace environment
- Understands department priorities
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- High school graduate, college education preferred
USD $23.98 - USD $29.97 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
