LocationOnsite, Hauppauge, NY – five days a week.
What You Will Do- Plan and deliver overall Engineering Product Development programs in accordance with organizational mission and goals.
- Establish program charters, schedules, critical paths, and technology risk baselines.
- Communicate key development updates, risks, and timelines cross‑functionally and present to the Executive team as required.
- Ensure program activities operate within policies and procedures, driving improvements and creating policies as required.
- Deliver program status reports in accordance with the program charter and departmental reporting process.
- Monitor budgets, manage expenditures, ensure financial records are up‑to‑date, and prepare business cases and contracts.
- Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities, taking appropriate action to control them in collaboration with Engineering Leadership.
- Conduct program review meetings, gate reviews, and regular stakeholder reviews, including cross‑site coordination when applicable.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering;
Master’s Degree preferred. Degree equivalency may be considered in lieu of experience. - Experience: Minimum 5 years of directly related experience with at least 2 years of Project Managerial experience.
- Experience managing technical engineering project teams, including schedule generation/tracking, resource allocation, task assignments, budgets, and requirements management.
- Hands‑on experience designing hardware and/or software is a plus.
- Strong record‑keeping, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience managing program financials, business cases, and contracts.
- Ability to build relationships and work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of customer specification review, supplier coordination, and manufacturing processes.
Estimated salary range: $125,000 – $142,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.
