Overview
Construction Management company seeking an experienced Superintendent to join its rapidly growing 50-year-old organization. This Superintendent must plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish by organizing and overseeing construction procedures to ensure they are completed on time and on budget. This candidate must carry out supervisory responsibilities and be held accountable for the timely completion of the project and ensuring that the project is constructed in strict accordance with the plans, specifications, company’s policies and local applicable codes and laws.

- Ensure adherence to all OSHA health and safety standards
- Schedule inspections as necessary to ensure timely project completion
- Review and report issues timely if/when they arise and review potential impact
- Maintain daily log of jobsite activities
- Collaborate with Engineers, Architects, Subcontractors, Vendors, etc. to meet the demands of the project
- Perform quality control by inspecting work in progress to ensure that the workmanship conforms to contract documents and specifications and adheres to the construction schedule
- Determine required resources (manpower, equipment and materials)
- Communicate and reinforce the vision, values, and goals including IIF (Incident and Injury Free) safety program
- Aid the Project Team through collaboration and leadership skills
- Schedule Sub Contractors and Vendors to ensure timely project completion
- Administer weekly foreman meeting
- Production of 3 week look ahead
- Review monthly requisition in collaboration with Sr Project Manager
- Manage access control system
- Critical thinking and decision making
- Proven experience as a Senior Construction Superintendent
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures
- Expertise with quality and health and safety standards
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and experience of Auto Desk Build is preferred
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with diplomatic leadership abilities
- Expertise in reading and interpreting plans
- OSHA Training
- Job Type: Full-time
- Schedule:
8 hours/day or more as needed to perform job duties - Work Location:
