Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and access control systems; receive calls for service and dispatch officers and/or campus resources according to post orders;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details, providing clear radio and/or phone communications, and escalating as required;
Coordinate regular and random patrols around campus buildings, parking areas, and perimeter, tracking officer locations and follow-up actions through dispatch logs;
Complete written and electronic documentation such as incident reports, activity logs, and shift passdowns; maintain control of keys, radios, and other assigned equipment per policy
