Claiborne Senior Living, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Cook (CKO) to join our team in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The Cook will be responsible for preparing delicious, nutritious and attractive meals for our senior residents in a timely and professional manner. This is a part‑time, hourly food service job and the successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the health and satisfaction of our residents.

• Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and residents' preferences
• Ensure high quality and appropriate portion sizes for all meals
• As Shift Lead, ensure service standards are met and all assigned duties are completed by department staff
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and cooking equipment
• Monitor and record food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies
• Follow all food safety regulations and maintain proper food temperature
• Collaborate with dietary team to plan menus and special events
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and training
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
• Active Serv Safe Food Manager certification or willingness to acquire certification within 30 days of hire
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling techniques
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow detailed recipes and dietary requirements
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
• Ability to lift 50 lb on a regular basis
